Industrial Products belongs to Dangerous Goods or not in Thailand is controled by DIW (Department of Industrial Works).
Although depend on purpose of use is controled by different official department, many chemical products is industrial material, DIW controls import & expot license, Warehousing for Dangerous Goods.
When it import or export Dangerous Goods, must obtain the Import & Export License. For export shipment, it needs to obtain before departure date. For import shipment it needs to obtain before arrival date Especially import shipment, it is forbidden to obtain after arrival date.
So have to set a target date and making a plan to obtain the import license in time, therefore must be careful. Our MKC (THAILAND) could consult how to judge Dangerous Goods or not collecting the product information from customer. And we support totally from begging to apply until obtain licese.
Dangerous Goods in Thailand must be stored at Warehouse or Factory authrized by DIW. In other words, when it apply DIW license, needs to register storage location. So following DIW license, product must be stored at registration warehouse or factory. It means procuct and registration warehouse or factory must be set, after that could obtain import and export license.

Although does not belong to Dangerous Goods in Thailand, but have so many products belongs to Dangerous Goods on international sea and air freight. Judgement criteria is having UN No. or not.
And which dangerous goods must be packed On international sea and air freight, there is regulation which cartegory of Dangerous Goods should be what kind of Packageing.
